Free music and drama workshops for healthy bodies and healthy minds.

The Geraldton Toy Library is excited to present four weeks of free performing arts workshops and activities in partnership with Jar of Arts Geraldton. Babies, toddlers, children and adults are invited to join in the fun as we use movement, singing, drama and music to explore our emotions and feelings.

Bookings are essential. Refreshments provided at all classes.

We invite you to attend just one class or come along every week! However, for catering purposes, each class date requires a separate registration.

Baby Classes

For age 0-2. Parent participation essential.
A time of bonding with your baby as we use sound, rhythm and dance to immerse our babies in a world of music and movement. Meet other parents and carers while learning to use simple songs and rhymes to help your child communicate and understand their world.

Toddler Classes

For age 2-4. Parent supervision essential.
Engage in songs, rhymes, storytelling, dance and yoga. We will experiment with percussion instruments, costumes, props and puppets as we role play in a fun, energetic environment.

Ignite your creative thinking by using your voice and body in a fun and safe space. Explore singing, rhythm and whole body movement as we go on a journey to an imaginary world using music, drama and yoga.

Classes for Adults

Laugh, let off steam and enjoy some self care with beginner-friendly Performing Arts classes at Jar of Arts. Stepping out of our comfort zone is where the magic happens, so connect with others and get creative in a safe and playful space.
Bring a friend or come solo - meeting new people and challenging your routine is a great way to grow your self esteem and feel more connected to your community.

The Geraldton Toy Library and Jar of Arts are partnering to offer four free Professional Learning Workshops to Childcare Educators, Early Childhood Teachers and Primary Teachers looking to integrate Performing Arts into their daily learning activities.
